MC Midas continues to extend his long catalogue of soundcloud releases with yet another track as he moves closer to his forthcoming new album out soon. This track is produced by Charles Jay and is entitled ‘Forget The Past’, as Midas rhymes over a melancholy Hip Hop beat with a slapping beat pattern and overwhelmingly sad background samples, as he deals with a relatable situation in which you may be down in a slump and in need of a friend, yet as Midas reveals, maybe from past experience, sometimes you have burnt all of your bridges at times by letting that one true friend who is always there go and now you are wishing them back. MC Midas rhymes about his one friend, a female which he longs to get back together and forget the past. Midas once again shows his versatility, and with heart-felt lyricism which is introspective, and he is superb with the flows, hard hitting and switching it up with rapid delivery in the second verse, and concocting a hook that is smoothly and sung comfy.
