Franko Fraize – Only (Video)

Thetford MC Franko Fraize takes you on a journey for the brand new striking visuals for his new single ‘Only,’ premiered on The 405. The visuals match the stirring track perfectly as a story is played out in front of our eyes in a poignant, empathic display of solitude.
As the keys open up the record, there’s a feeling of melancholy within the notes. For a second you could be forgiven for thinking that a ballad was about to proceed. Then the beat kicks in. Then Franko Fraize arrives, and everything you thought you were getting changes up to present ‘Only’.
While a deep rock bassline rumbles from the bass guitar, flashes of drum and bass strike through via syncopated beats to reveal the whistling synths. Franko Fraize bounces in to action as his unmistakable Thetford tones begin their journey and his reality bars ring a sense of truth as you connect to them, culminating in a break that intensifies the feeling deep within you.
Having previously played at the world famous Jazz Café, Radio 1’s Big Weekend and Wembley, as well as supporting Rudimental and Mike Skinner, Franko Fraize is a seasoned performer and a master at captivating his fans through his lyrics. Adding to his impressive list of live performances, Franko Fraize gears up to perform at Reading & Leeds in summer 2016.
A ‘salt of the Earth’ kind of guy, his lyrics are bold and courageous and his accent is always prevalent making him relatable and accessible. There’s an essence of Train Spotting about him with a nod to old-time family favouritess such as The Specials and The Clash yet an after taste of The Streets, but despite his influences, Franko Fraize has a charm, a sparkle and a talent that makes him distinct. The one, the ‘Only’, Franko Fraize.
