Gentlemen’s Club, made up of Dubstep Producers 50 Carrot and Coffi, recently released a brand new 7-track EP via bandcamp, called ‘Gentlemen’s Club Collection Vol. 1’. The EP features seven bass kicking, thumping Dubstep productions, with collaborations with the likes of DJ Soloman and Deemed of The Gremlins. The project draws from all styles of these producers whom have many different eclectic tastes, from hard, thumping bass music, to the jump-up dubstep with face contorting basslines, to the Trap flava which appeals to the Rap fans. The Ep is heavily electronically produced, nonetheless, my favorites would have to be 50 Carrot’s ‘Monstrous!’, a thumping bass heavy Dubstep beat, with a jabbing bassline, with a Hip Hop break beat flava, ‘Majeur Sound’ which starts off with an ambient sound mixed with Trap, building to the drop which so many of this tracks possess, which notably is usually awesomely executed, going in to a reverberating bass, another break beat style production, and wobbling bass and Ragga/Jungle style rhythm. Soloman lays down a grungy Dubstep massacre with ‘ADMAY’, with wicked sounding drums, with a skanking vibe from the arrangement of the bass and drum kicks. Coffi and Deemed link up on ‘Everyone Is Stoned’, which contains an intro made up of 808 Bass, drawing for the Trap elements, then going in to laser-shooting, jabbing, synthesized madness, a grizzly production with wheel ups and pull ups.
