Canadian Grime rapper Tre Mission took to his official soundcloud to release the audio for his latest track, a collaboration with UK’s very own Ghetts. The song entitled “Humble” (also produced by Tre) sees the MC’s get lyrically deep over emotively melodic Trap style production. Ghetts kicks off proceedings with his broken, abstract delivery, spitting about his journey in music, speaking of the ups, downs, trials and tribulations and ultimate humbling success he has earned, whilst mellowing out his voice to capture the relaxed vibe of the backing music. The chorus is simply a whispered repetition of the word Humble, setting the mood of the track which works well on a calm level. Tre Mission goes in with his bars, seamlessly linking his words together with a smooth yet rapid flow. Tre talks of the hustle and grind to get where he is, pleased with how well known he is in the London music scene, but feeling like he never gets love like he should, but regardless getting that “lizzy” in by any means. Humble is a mellow track that displays both MC’s talents for writing timeless music and showing their versatility for making all styles of Urban music.
