MC’s Goldlink, Little Simz and Waldo stepped inside the 1xtra studio recently on the Toddla T show, which was celebrating Hip Hop Month on the station. Waldo stepped up first, with flows full of swagger, flowing effortlessly on a banging Hip Hop beat and dutty bassline. Letting it rip with an array of flows, spitting about the grind, his success and his lavish life now that he is flossing, freestyling at one time which was astounding. Toddla T went in with the mixing in this segment. UK Hip Hop MC Lilttle Simz went up next with a freestyle session on a mesmerising Hip Hop instrumental, getting straight in to things with intellectual lyricism, showcasing herself as a wordsmith, dropping words of wisdom, from subjects on religion, science and much more. The last Rapper was again from across the pond, Goldlink, who spat on Jay Z’s ‘Big Pimpin’, with laid back flows, lyrics that depicted his swag, as well as having fun with his wordplay, full of confidence.
