Following up his incredible 21-track album, which had some fantastic features from Akala, Maverick Sabre, J Spades and more, Haze drops the music video for the title track ‘Thinking Out Loud’ as well as his short film of the same name starring Haze himself. Haze expresses his thoughts out loud on a piano-led melody and trapesque Hip Hop beat, produced by Edixion Beats, for the new tune, which also features amazing singing vocals from a female singer on the chorus. Haze’s lyrics explore his conscious thoughts on his life, analysing his purpose and where his actions impact on where he is heading in life. The captivating visuals for the song contain slick animation and green-screen shot scenes and some motivating, inspiring cut aways too.
Having elevated his artistry to the next level, by combining a film, album and music video together, Haze thinking out the box has shown his innovation and creativity. The short film, ‘Thinking Out Loud’, made it’s debut on 11th May alongside GRM Daily who previewed the short film for the first time before it was officially released. Haze held an official launch party for the film and album he stars in and directed by Sheridan Myers at the W Hotel a few weeks back also, where he showed fans, press, family and friends the film ahead of the release.
The film itself brings together Haze’s poetic narrative, and cinematic visuals which follow Haze’s everyday but nevertheless unique life.
….and so the story begins. Based in London on a true story, the project represents the conflict of an artist torn between two worlds. The streets and his passion; aspiring to be a successful artist but having to do whatever it takes to support his dream & his family, which ultimately leads him to making the ultimatum decision.
