Black Crown’s J Wing returns with his brand new 0.5 EP, via Grime Disciple. And if you were wondering where the West London MC has been, the opening track, featuring Bloodline’s 9 Milli Major, Rage and fellow Black Crown artist K Wing. Some things are best left unanswered as the four emphasize, spraying gully bars on the bass-heavy Faze Miyake production, just revealing how bad man roll. J Wing covers a remix of a remix with a banger over Spooky’s 0-100 Grime refix, delivering a full on attack of rival competition, stating they all lie and put on a front. J Wing provides a superb infectious hook, and displays a range of flows. ‘Think I’m Joking’ is another banger, something different from J Wing, and features Mez on the chorus, using wordplay to convey he is no joke when unloads on enemies. J Wing sprays rapidly and on point on the up-tempo, whirring beat. The LEVLZ produced ‘My Bits’ sees J Wing warn against coming to his gritty bits, and he gives props to some of the musicians he knows that are putting in work, in contrast to some that just hate and never progress. J Wing is joint by a whole bag of mc’s on ‘My G’s’, featuring a range of differing styles as they shell a hammering instrumental. The last couple of tracks are bonus Bday sets from J Wing on various radio stations including De Ja Vu and more and features a Spooky Bizzle special and many mc’s shelling it on a bundle of booming grime beats.
