Jay Carteré follows up his EP ‘The Love Story’, released last week, with the music video for ‘Lighthouse’, shot and edited by Jay himself. The track itself sees Jay fuse his passion of both Dance Rap together, delivering introspective lyrics as he delves in to the subject of relationships, whilst also expressing the happiness in his own love life, likening his lady to a lighthouse in the chorus, which displays Jay’s wordplay skills with the use of metaphors. Jay Carteré laces the crisp production by himself also with smooth vocals too, further establishing himself as a jack of all trades, gifted in so many areas as well as broadening his musical horizons. The visuals compile several simple lip-synced performances by Jay Carteré in to a flitting edit with several costume changes as well as alternating between background colours, both letting off a flashing look, and Jay also polishes off the final look of the video with lighting streaks to make the visual even more intriguing.
