Swarve is lyrically astute, structures his rhymes well and has a decent flow. Whats even more impressive is the true versatility of the artist. Swarve dabbles in Dancehall, Hip Hop and RnB, with exuberance and an assured confidence within his writing on every track. Jay Swarve is a rising talent and most definitely has what it takes to spit with the best. You can easily hear him alongside the likes of Chip, Dappy and the Tinie Tempahs of the industry, although he maybe has a more apparent truth and edge to his music. Not Your Average is certainly an apt title for this EP, as it is not your average and certainly sets Jay apart from rival artists up and down the country.
