MC Gino teamed up with JDZmedia recently for a brand new banger, a Dance tune called ‘Turn It Up’ which is available for purchase on iTunes right now. The track which is produced by Andrew Mutambira is a Dance track with summer vibe, whilst Gino spits over a dirty bass and beat which drops like a bomb, similar to Swedish House Mafia and Knife Party’s Antidote. Stating his intentions for turning up the music, getting out of his seat and standing up to have a good time, Gino lyrically states that he is the life of the party, going on all animated, getting his party mood from his family. Partying, drinking, acting wild, the video reflects the hypeness of the track, from appearances in the video by Gino’s mother and aunty, to a bunch of people turning up for a house party, Gino serving the ice cream, getting mash up in every room of the mansion, and diving in to the pools which are crowded, the visuals itself seemed like a lot of fun to film. I think Gino is on to something with this track, although it may be a bit cheesy, or directed towards mainstream and dance ravers, it should attract more fans or listeners for him, so it could be track which he looks back on as his big break.
