Veteran Grime/Garage MC Maxwell D teamed up with JDZmedia recently for a net video to a new track called ‘Step 5 (They Wanna Know’ produced by Thomas Mellor. Maxwell D tears up the heavyweight, bass-heavy Grime-come-Trap instrumental, squashing the chat from haters and mc’s alike, stating his intentions to carry on spitting until he achieves greatness, and he pars inferior mc’s by knocking their lacklustre music and facades. Maxwell D goes in with some crazy punchlines and fun wordplay, boasting of record deals that make the competition seem small, yet Maxwell D conveys his feeling of being disrespected by some, but then some turning around and rating him the next. Maxwell D steps over his rivals effortlessly, spraying rapid fire and lyrical content galore in this freestyle.
