Jem Cooke ft Double S & Dot Rotten | Burning Memories [Music Video]: SBTV

Jem Cooke makes her SBTV music video debut with brand new track “Burning Memories” ft. Double S & Dot Rotten. Soulful Jem pours her heart out over a delightful melodic, funky, pop/RnB instrumental. Ms. Cooke sings about a love lost and the scars it leaves, enlisting the help of two of the UK’s most innovative rappers, Double S and Dot Rotten. Double S kicks the fist bars of with a subtle bang, by his past recordings and singing, yes singing and proving to a pretty formidable crooner and even more rounded all round artist! Dot spits a deep verse (allegedly about a well known female UK rapper he was reported to be dating a while ago). Dot gets emotional, lyrically burning his ex back and proving that you don’t wanna be on the wrong side of this lyricist as an MC or ex girlfriend. Burning Memories is a fresh, soulful slice of UK urban music, which stands up next to anything created by established artists in the charts right now and more importantly is the type of music that would stand the test of time next to classic RnB/Rap tracks from yesteryear. Jem Cooke is undoubtedly one of the most wonderful singers to emerge from the UK in a long time, refreshingly classy and simply all about the music. No Twerkin. Just great music. Check out the amazing animation for the video, again setting creative standards high for UK artists and visual specialists. Leave us your comments below…
