Kamar recently dropped the official video, directed and edited by RexoMedia, for a brand new track called ‘Losing Myself’. Kamar takes to a slow, sauntering trapesque rap beat, delivering introspective lyrics that convey his search for the love of his girl who has left him for other guys, as Kamar loses himself in finding her love once again. Kamar highlights the life on the roadside as a problem which he states he sometimes needs to take a break, expressing his hope that his son doesn’t head down the same path. As Kamar ends the song, he delivers brilliantly sung and harmonious vocals which add an R&B vibe, and it becomes apparent that the song might be a whole metaphor for his love of weed. A song which could be interpreted two ways, Kamar has shown and proven his song writing abilities as incredible and innovative, certainly more intriguing than other mc’s in the scene.
