Having already gained support from BBC 1Xtra, Sky Arts, GRM Daily, Noctis Magazine, 9Bills and Wordplay Magazine amongst others, Kemi Sulola teams up with British producer MoreNight to unveil a massive fresh UK Garage remix of her latest single ‘IF’.

Adding another dimension to the original, the remix of ‘IF’ maintains Kemi Sulola’s infectious UK R&B and pop sensibilities that you hear on the ElTrain produced track. MoreNight, whose prior credits include Manga Saint Hilare, Scrufizzer and Footsie plus much more, flips the original track on it’s head, giving an already amazing song a new lease of life, having all the characteristics needed for the perfect dance floor filler, seeping in sun-soaked vibes, evoking visions of warm, starry nights, perhaps gazing at the stars.

Seaking on how the collaboration between herself and MoreNight came to pass, Kemi says:
“MoreNight and I had been following each other on Twitter for a while and he had even previously sampled some of my vocals in another remix he did, which was dope, so I reached out to him to remix my song and he was down to make it happen. Being from the UK, Garage music was a style I grew up on, so I wanted to pay some homage to that era and sound, but the remix also brings an upbeat feel to the song, which takes away the reflective emotion of the song of her wondering if he cares, but sounds more sure”.

With co-signs from reputable music figures and platforms including Capital Xtra, DJ Target, Emeli Sandé and Janet Jackson, Kemi Sulola is undoubtedly a name that you soon won’t be able to ignore. She has also performed alongside notable artists such as PJ Morton, Teedra Moses and Stormzy at their live shows, showing her mettle beside other great talent.

Kemi has impressively won community awards for her music, hosted her own sold out events, taught and trained both children and adults in music and songwriting, as well as collaborated with many other artists both locally and internationally. These include her work with the Soulfest Collective based in Canada, and other independent artists she has worked with in America and other parts of the world.

Kemi Sulola is clearly a very determined and out-going young musician, passionate about her craft and a lady of many talents.
