Kid Bookie – Hey (Remix) Ft. Swifty McVay (Prod. Lewis Cullen)
Kid Bookie has been getting in some of the most remarkable and undeniably biggest UK/US collaborations these past few years, ‘Evolution 2.0′, featuring Kuniva and Crooked I alongside Dot Rotten, Lady Leshurr, Scrufizzer and Samantha Mumba’. He worked with Nasaan, son of late D12 frontman, Proof, on ‘Premonition’ along with Dot Rotten once again. Last year, the South London emcee released “You’ll Rate Me When I’m Dead”. He has now teamed up with D12’s Swifty McVay for another stand-out collaboration, where distance is no matter, as both have a similar approach and vision to their music. The song’s lyrics delve in to their unstable minds lifestyles, use of drugs and alcohol, and dangerous mindsets that are either harmful to themselves or others. Kid Bookie’s use of substances is harmful to his health whilst Swifty’s urge to decimate rivals lyrically is only a danger to them.
