Lively Reveals Two New Remixes With Jobi Wilson

Lively unveils a remix to Krept and Konan’s ‘Freak Of the Week’, featuring Jobi Wilson. Re-entitled ‘Freak On A Beat’, Lively takes to the Dancehall-inspired Hip Hop remix of Beenie Man’s ‘Who Am I (Sim Simma)’, with Jobi on the hook refixing Jeremiah’s original chorus. Lively shows disregard for any other rappers who he deems inferior, stating that he is killing it lyrically, evidently from the clever wordplay, and the work rate that he is showing, not to mention that collabo with Scott Storch.

Lively dares to go where most other rappers wouldn’t go, as he walks on the Rock side of music, remixing Nirvana’s classic ‘In Bloom’. Lively is joined by Jobi Wilson on the remix, spitting over the rhythmic guitars and thrashing drums, the lyrics depicting his die-hard passion for music, revealing his ambition to climb his way to the top and succeed in music which he states is his calling. Lively drops hard hitting flows over the beat, with Jobi once again covering on the hook. His voice is an uncanny similarity compared to Kurt Cobain’s!

Check out both of these two remixes from Lively and Jobi Wilson, a complete contrast in genre and style, and which Lively rises to the occasion effortlessly, and innovatively taking these tracks somewhere new, lyrically at least. Leave us your feedback in the comments section below . . .
