Masro – Yuk Riddim EP
Grime producer Masro released his anticipated “Yuk Riddim” EP, which features 11 different versions of his new banger instrumental which has been picking up popularity, which is good to see in the Grime scene, giving us a break from the likes of DWMT. Some of the stand-out versions include Invasion Alert’s Vader, in which he spits about this wicked world, the evilness that lurks nowadays, and drawing from his own life experiences, Vader lyrically on form.
Flowdan, Riko and Manga’s Yuk Riddim was always going to be good, Manga always lyrically killing it, skying competition with his bars, taking the p*ss with the bars and skippy flow, Flowdan and Riko drop murderous bars, delivery on point as all three go back to back.
Invasion’s Villain & Hitman team up with Aks, Tazzle & Natty for a hyper take on the riddim, with an energetic hook, as well as ferocious verses, Hitman keeping it greezy, Villain on a mad ting, as well as Ak’s, Tazzle and Natty showcasing impressive flow, delivery. All MC’s packing the punches in their bars, lyrically knocking out competition.
Flirta D’s is most probably the most entertaining, with self made sfx and adlibs, tongue-twisting lyrics, and Dray Delta lyrically destroys it, rounded off the mixtape with sick bars, opting to murder those which he doesn’t converse with in the booth, a well-written hook, and lines about making dough, and drawing out emcee’s on their wack flows and lyrics. Delta is a one-man wrecking crew, flowing superbly on the banging beat.
