Matty P returns with his newest song which is called ‘The One’ and is a cover of US collective Slaughterhouse’s song of the same name. Matty P takes to the rock-infused, thrashing Hip Hop beat which contains banging drums and guitar riffs, as he calls out celebrities that abuse their fame and riches, from models flashing their bits, to mc’s coming with no substance, and celebrities going for broke or turning to drugs. Matty P name drops several celebrities from Kerry Katona to Robbie Williams to Conor Maynard, wondering what it would be like if he hit the bottom and went on a downward spiral. Matty P delivers a track with a unique and relevant subject, once again I feel as though his flow needs improving in some places, but on the whole, a good song.
