Maxsta & Brotherhood – Own Advice
Maxsta and Brotherhood link for the first single taken from their forthcoming EP ”A12 Link Up’ which is out on September 25th. The tune is a deep and introspective song from the duo from Ipswich and East London’s Maxsta, as the three deliver rapid flows over a rap/grime production, as they battle with the stress laying heavily on their shoulders, the constant pull towards giving up at times, yet needing to carry on the get paid, but sometimes the advice that you preach to others is hard to follow yourself, which many of us can relate to for definite. This track is much a motivational track as well as the artists spreading a message and their own perspective, emphasizing that they themselves need to listen to their own advice. The trio go in with breath-taking flows, with a strong, mellow, sung hook by Menace, which fits in well with the track as a whole. The visuals are excellently shot as they follow two different characters played by the three as they go heading down contrasting roads, interspersed with lip-synced footage.
