Mercston takes the fresh approach of lacing vocals on a UKG beat, instantly setting his sound apart from the grime, hip hop, EDM and trap rivals. Melody is like the original instrumental and remixes at the time a bangin little bubbler. Mercston catches the vibe perfectly and twists up the flows and adds sing song rhymes in the mix to boot. Approaching rap like this is very unique for one of todays MC’s and it is proof that many Old School Garage tunes were ahead of their time in production, with this version of Melody sounding as fresh as daisy.
