Midlands trio Farky, Romey5 and Lil Farkz hook up to bring you a slick hood video for their remix of Meek Mill’s “My Life”. Farky and his fellow MCs go hard over the melodically poignant trap style instrumental, spitting about pain, the hustle, the struggle to make it in the music game, the haters and the lost ones from their lives. All three rappers display the writing talents and skills mature beyond their years. They flow over the beat with apparent ease putting their own bleak, tough yet hungry sounding stamp on the instru. The chorus is a flip on the original track re-branding the song “Part Of The Game” and summing up all of their feelings on the subject matters raised in their bars with musical expertise. The video is real, shot in the manor and in true Hip Hop fashion sees the artists spray their bars expressing themselves through the music alone. Invasion’s JayKae even makes a cameo appearance in a show of support to the future UK rap stars. Big remix, Farky and co managed to give an already well known track an new alternate lease of life.
