P110 – Flexplicit Ft. Jay Deane – When I Go [Net Video]
UK battle rapper, artist and High Rise ent representative Flexplicit releases new visuals for his latest track via P110. The song entitled “When I Go” sees Flexplicit get lyrically deep over an emotive acoustic guitar backing, analysing life, the pain, trials and tribulations and musing about all the injustice in the world. Singer Jay Deane adds the cherry to the silk iced cake, in soulful rock and roll style fashion, adding even more depth and emotion to the song. Flexplicit shows his versatility and songwriting ability, adding strings to his bow, not just a diss rapper, more a fully fledged musician. When I Go holds weight as a rap track and pop song, could be an underground/borderline commercial success and really deserves to be. The visuals (also provided by Flexplicit himself!) are stripped back and understated, shot in cinematic black and white, featuring various locations and depicting the words in the song artistically, show the maturity of the artists involved and the professionalism of the music from start to finish. Big tune! Deep meaning, not your average rap! Check out the skills and leave us your feedback in the comments section…
