Wolverhampton Grime MC Vital linked up with P110 recently to unveil a new net video by himself, for a track called #DLTY or Don’t Lie To Yourself, which is the title track taken from the #DLTY EP. Vital takes to a bass-heavy Grime instrumental, being straight up with his listeners unlike those he states have lied to him, as he exposes those that lie about the life they live, acting like they’ve got bags from selling bags, but Vital spreads knowledge to the youth especially, as he emphasizes hard work, as well as his work rate, writing bars non-stop and always pumping out music, Vital stresses that you mustn’t lie to yourself just like himself, telling the youth also that they don’t have to live life like those who would have you believe different and to be yourself. The video goes along way too inspiring the youth alongside the teachings in the lyrics, with Vital taking a trip abroad like it’s nothing. The simplistic visuals are mixed with some neat word animation which makes the video more intriguing.
