For GRM Daily’s tenth episode of their new series “Rated”, they caught up with UK collective Rascals. Big Shizz, Merkar and Tempz go in on the Dizzee Rascal produced Strings Hoe instrumental, with fire bars and positively skitzofrenic flows. Each MC from Rascals kills the beat in their own way. Shizz burns the riddim with rapid paced rhymes, taking side swipes at rivals. Merkz comes with the hard bars, slewin competition in the process, then Tempz slows the pace briefly with the lyrics full of bravado and keeps goin even after the beat stops, with punchlines aplenty.
