Raz – Message Ain’t Forgotten
UK Hip Hop artist Raz teamed up with Jay Parpworth for a music video for a new track entitled “Message Ain’t Forgotten”, which features Raz rhyming over a slow-jam, Hip Hop beat, reminiscent of West Coast-style beats, the type to chill out to. Raz comes with some deep, lyrical content, going through the hard times in his rhymes, speaking on poverty, the bad times, troubles he got in to, losing family, and reflecting on much harder times. Verse 2 is a slightly brighter side of Raz’ story, as he spits about making money and going studio, but yet still not having a penny, and having to put in the grind. Raz spits with an emotion in his voice and delivery, rhyming about a number of things of which a lot of people can relate to in reality, not making the lifestyle seem glamorous at all, whilst the video is shot on location in front of a broken down caravan, and in a church yard, which resembles the hook, Raz reaching out to God, , whilst the video doesn’t depict Raz’ lifestyle as rewarding, rather the opposite.
