All aboard the PCP Deathstar! Redro Killson released his first song of the new year this past week, a hard hitting, gritty trap banger from the HGXD Singer/Songwriter and Rapper. The lyrics from Redro explore the PCP trip that he takes, perhaps a one way trip to death or paradise. A mix of singing and rapping, Redro takes to a heavily synthesized trap beat with ringing bells and eerie, sci-fi synths that give the sense of imminent danger. Redro Killson’s premonitions of his death are not that dissimilar to 2Pac, Kurt Cobain, Biggie, David Bowie and Leonard Cohen. The lyrical substance, so to speak, about drugs and his obsession or close affinity to the 27 Club follows in the footsteps of Amy Winehouse, Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain and any more before him.
