Raise your fist for the return of one of the godfathers of UK Hip Hop, one part of London Rhyme Syndicate, Reynolds. The Freedom EP mixdown is a sampler of the forthcoming album from the lyricist, due for release in 2016. Drawing inspiration from a long list of Hip Hop legends; Afrika Bambatta, Grandmaster Caz, Melle Mel, Kool G Rap, Eric B and Rakim, Run DMC, LL Cool J, Public Enemy and BDP, you can see and hear that they have deeply influenced his sound and style, instilling in him his passion of the Hip Hop culture. Reynolds employs a refreshing yet old school sound, his music conveying both his passion and roots in Hip Hop, via wise and knowledgeable lyricism. The younger generation of Hip Hop heads could learn something from someone like Reynolds, who may be single-handedly, or at least helping in some capacity to keep the fire burning for something real.
