Croydon’s ever-mysterious, shadowy, firespitter Rocks FOE took to soundcloud this week to unleash 8 minutes of heel upon his nemeses in the form of the self-produced ‘Seere Medley’, which takes it’s name from the seventh spirit, the Mighty Prince, and powerful who took the form of a man riding a winged horse. Rocks FOE summons devastating wordplay directed at and attacking other spitters in the scene, first over a trap beat layered up with sinister snares and a dark melody. Secondly, shelling a bouncy, chopped up Grime beat, Rocks FOE, continuing his snarling delivery on with more skippy, rapid flows pinpoints fakes, sending warning of the ramifications of running their mouths. Rocks FOE has released a grimy, deadly and hostile banger here which is breath-taking, and even when you think it’s all over, all said and done, Rocks switches up yet again with bass-booming, West-Coast style synth-laden beat.
