London rapper Daryl Smilez releases a video for his new track entitled “The World Is Mine”. Smilez spits with a sporadic, well applied flow over a deep melodic, piano led hip hop beat, sampling Marvin Gaye on the chorus. The classic soul sample chorus sets the tone for the track, with “The World Is Mine” standing poignant on the beats, paving the way for Daryl to spit some equally classic rhymes. The feel of the track is old skool, fresh in his writing style, but true to Hip Hop roots, Daryl Smilez skilfully kicks them killer bars sounding like a young Jay Z or Black Twang in his approach to the track.
