Scrufizzer links up with fellow artist Akelle Charles for a new music video for a track called ‘Be Honest’. Scrufizzer and Akelle deliver a rather humble tune oozing overwhelming sadness, as the pair force the listener to face up to reality, as Akelle sings about bottling up his feelings and coping with a large family, whilst Scrufizzer rhymes about past times when he was sleeping rough, running from the law, and like Akelle, the both stress the loneliness and the absence of friends and people they can rely on. Akelle sings smoothly on the bass-heavy R&B/Hip Hop instrumental, pouring soul in to his delivery, and Scrufizzer’s verse is a mix of rapping and singing but laid back. Check out the music video which features some poignant images from the artists personal lives, alternating between that and lip-synced performance.
