Grime producer/dj Spooky Bizzle released a brand new quick instrumental recently, which samples Otis Redding’s ‘(Sittin’ On) The Dock Of The Bay’. The short clip of the production showcases a bass booming, grime/trap beat, with pronounced percussion made up of snares and claps in around 140bpm, whilst Spooky samples Otis Redding’s vocals from the hook, as well as the extremely infectious whistling segment, speeding up the vocals to add the energy to the beat,and what I like is when Spooky manipulates the bass, switching it up ever so smoothly and nicely, with a dip at the end.
