Northampton MC Statz has dropped a brand new Westy-produced track via his soundcloud called ‘Westy’s Tags’. Statz takes to the bass-riddled, Grime-come-Trap instrumental, filled with spacious, eerie synths, spraying assertive bars which digest Statz’ goals to climb the ranks of the scene, expressing his desire to bring his city through, his lack of time for anyone but focusing on himself and he also evaluates the state of and the mentality on some people in the game. Statz drops double entendres and sporadic punchlines both in the verses and chorus, which gives a nod to Westy, and Statz possesses aggressive delivery on the beat.
