Following on from yet another smash hit single with ‘Know Me From’, elevating the Grime scene to a higher platform, MC Stormzy drops a new Grime freestyle named ‘Shut Up’, filmed and edited by Jaiden Ramgeet. Stormzy takes to a park to deliver some fire over an old school Grime instrumental, Functions On The Low, as tears it up with a some ego-boosting one liners to kick off which will draw some laughter as well as build the hype, and he goes on to silence certain hate that he received by parring rivals by boasting of superior lyrical skills, certified status in the scene and on his ends, as well as spitting some more humble bars in which he states intentions to look after his mother as he obtains monies, also highlighting his not so privileged background via mukky, hard-edged bars. Stormzy kills it with energetic delivery and hard hitting flows, with his guys in the video serving as hype men.
