East London based artist, producer and songwriter Strike is back with yet another track, ‘Can I Walk With You’ produced by Tom Misch, released via his soundcloud. Strike rhymes on a Hip Hop beat with a relaxed and chilled melody, delivering lyrics like his own soliloquy, as he talks about the things he may think about on his walkabouts around London on his daily travels. As Strike himself explains, “I believe that though we all think we think different things, we actually think more similarly than not.” We may not know that we and others relate to each other or think alike unless we all actually speak what we think, and “the best time to do this sometimes is to walk and talk.” An introspective song from Strike which is moving and rhythmic, it also furthers Strike’s credibility as an all-rounded musician and strong lyricist. Strike is 4 years deep in to his career making and performing music, and will continue to release a track or video at least once a month until August ’17, having done so since August ’16.
