Mr Melta collaborates with fellow UK Hip Hop artist Subtrax for a brand new track via his soundcloud entitled “Youth”, the production by Lion Riddims of which fuses Hip Hop with Reggae. Both rappers rhyme with meaning, lyrics speaking words of wisdom, forcing the youth to stop and think of their actions, telling anyone that listens that even though times are bad, there are many others just like you and that every action has a consequence which will come back to haunt you. Mr Melta creates a story in his verse where as Subtrax draws from experience, having felt like no-one cares, relates or does anything, especially when it comes to the government, but yet he shows remorse in terms of caring for his own mother, not trusting any bad mind people and having the desire to change himself and the community. Mr Melta and Subtrax have contrasting flows, Melta comes with a slow, hard-hitting flow and delivery, whilst Subtrax spits fast-paced, yet both artists verses have the same effect, making you think. The hook is provided by Subtrax and sees him reflect on what he sees every day, comfortably singing the chorus to perfection.
