With the forthcoming Chabba EP 2on the way by Ten Dixon, the Grime MC linked up with fellow Grime artists Charlie Trees and D Rogers for a an official video for a track called ‘Life Ain’t What It Seems’ from the first instalment. The track’s production has an atmospheric, old school vibe to it mixed with laid back, wavey 140bpm Trap/Grime elements. The lyrics depict the reality of life, when you finally wake up from you dreaming and come to realization what live entails, with the trio rhyming about living in the slums in impoverished circumstances, grinding on a daily and relieving the stress by any means, from having help from family or helping one’s self, or smoking weed in D Roger’s case. Check out the nice and mellow vibes contrasted by the skippy, rapid flows, and peep the powerful storyline depicted in the visuals, and let us know what you think in the comments section . . .
