The Intent – Film starring Krept & Konan, Scorcher, Fekky & more‏

Set in the heart of London, the chilling tale of gang warfare, greed and drugs unfolds. Newfound infamy for the TIC crew affords the gang members the fast life, which catches the attention of all the wrong people and trust starts to become an issue, ultimately leading to their downfall. Infiltration, dishonour and ego are key to the plot but the key question is, what is “The Intent” of each player.

The Intent is the new glossy, gritty thriller set to hit selected cinemas nationwide on 29th July 2016, and will also be available via iTunes for for download digitally on the same date. Co-directed by Nicky Slimting Walker and Femi Oyeniran, the film stars many music artists, some in their first acting roles, such as Krept and Konan, Fekky, Scorcher, DVS, and Fastlane Wes. MOBO nominated and former Topboy actor/musician Scorcher takes the lead as ‘Gunz’ and stars alongside Ashley Chin (Starred Up, Plastic), award winning Hip Hop Duo Krept & Konan, Femi Oyeniran (Kidulthood), Jade Asha (As Bad as Me), Nicky Slimting Walker (It’s a Lot), Dylan Duffus (1 Day), Shone Romulus (Topboy), Sarah Akokhia (Hallows Eve) and rap royalty Fekky.
This ground-breaking project merges UK Film and Music together for this undoubtedly enthralling film. An original soundtrack which features many of the UK’s best up and coming talents and established too, the soundtrack captures the tone and mood of the film itself. Some of the artists to feature on the soundtrack are Ghetts, Scorcher, Tanika, Stormzy, Fekky, Mostacks, Ruff Sqwad, Big Tobz, Cadet, Swiss, Paigey Cakey and Ms Banks, all on one 18-track album that will be released to coincide with the release of the film.
