Three of Nottingham’s hardest-working artists, underground or not, JR, Lyrikz and Hectic all link up for yet another banger and have media channel Unique Vision (UV) produce the gully visuals. The track is also gully in vain, all three MC’s spit a verse each on a Hip Hop instrumental. All three give their own personal stories, of the come-up from the bottom, grinding towards fame, trying to get in with the hard work. These hungry artists aren’t giving up by the looks of it anyway, they all connect well with different styles, Lyrikz is a more slow-rhyming type of rapper, JR has an array of flows and lyrics, which is shown on here as he switches up the flow a few times, and Hectic is another rapid spitter, he provides the Grime-style delivery but like JR changes up to slow down the pace when he likes, flowing effortlessly. The hook which is spoken by JR is a fab lil’ chorus, straight to the point and makes the track seem more of an anthem for the hard-workers, others who put their blood, sweat and tears in to music.
