Grime Clash League Words Are Weapons continue to present their clashes from Manchester, a in this clash which was promoted as a heated battle, even seeming to culminate in a fight, involves the Geo whom has home advantage going against Raiman from Bournemouth. Round 1 saw Geo kick things off in a back to back style clash, going in with some profanities, both emcee’s attack each other with an onslaught of bars, Geo pulling out many disses aimed at Raiman’s mother, also ribbing him for his features as well as the shape of his head. Raiman had an incredible flow in my opinion, countering superbly as did Geo, a particular moment when Geo counters Raiman’s talk of ethnic backgrounds. Round led on from the last round, with talk of crews, a case of who could go harder, who had most cred when it comes to street talk, also ability to draw the ladies, and downing each others’ chances of winning. Raiman was again brilliant with the delivery, whereas Geo just rained down a slew of bars. The third and final beat saw more of the same, except for both turning up the heat, getting in each others’ faces, at point when Geo pulled out his phone for bars, Raiman getting vex, talking about bringing more jokes than the last round, giving him that extra push to raise the levels, turning the clash round in my opinion, slewing Geo with bars focused on appearance and much more. Raiman just stole it for me with talk of date rape, with Geo feeling the heat, once again getting up in Raiman’s face, disrespecting him and spitting over him. Overall, both emcee’s had bars, flows were incredible, but in my opinion, Raiman had his flow and delivery just that little bit more tight, and the third round was the decider, which is why Raiman took the the big W, but it could have gone any way.
