Words Are Weapons’ latest Grime Clash features Manic from Gloucester and Neonz from Bournemouth. The first round goes to Manic in my opinion, who drops some cheeky bars, aimed at Neonz mum mostly as he sprays fast flows peppering it with mum jokes and some deadly lines shot at Neonz himself, but Neonz seemed to be spitting generic bars more than his competition, amd which didn’t really draw a reaction from the crowd. Neonz had stronger round in the second, bringing up the subject of Manic’s bits, he slips a bit, letting Manic hit back with bars about Neonz acting all fake in his Youtube vids, talking dissing his mother once again. Neonz didn’t really build up a continuous flow, and even in round three he slipped up again. Manic brung the fire once again, also calling Neonz out on his name as well. Overall, it was 3-0 decision in favour of Manic which I agree with, but both emcee’s showed their talent, and in my opinion Neonz should stick to making tracks rather than battling.
