MC Midas took to soundcloud to release an unmastered version of a new track called ‘You Got Told’ produced by KL2, which is slated for release in the summer. This one features production that draws from many different genres, starting off with a sort of Garage beat pattern, a heavy bass kicks in, as Midas kicks lyrics for the dance crews, laying down smooth flows especially for the ladies as he rides the beat with bubbly delivery. Midas continues as he delivers a hook over a country style guitar riff. The second verse features some great story telling from Midas as he spins a tail of waking up to a woman who wants to tell all of her friends shes bagged herself an mc, and amongst all of that Midas delivers braggadocios bars as he brags about his superior rhyme skills. This one is a fusion of Garage, Dance and Rap from Midas who is one of the most versatile artists you will here, as he has fun with the lyricism.
