Don’t Flop presented a Grime Clash between MC’s Youthoracle and Weirdoe recently, in a most talked about, hyped up clash in which both went in for this heated battle. Weirdoe was first up, attacking his opponent, trying to find a weakness, referring to Youth’s ‘big head’, expressing that he doesn’t like his music, drawing reaction from the crowd with some stand out bars about Youthoracle and Bur-C. Youthorcale hits back, impressing with insane wordplay and metaphors. Weirdoe counters Youthorcale with mum jokes, bars made up on the spot, and talk of Tony D, which the crowd really gets behind, expressing their approval. Youthorcale brings back with excellent skill, displaying Weirdoe’s supposed flow which is off beat, gaining a wheel up for it. Round 2 sees Weirdoe dropping potent bars about Youth’s dad, and many more outrageous bars, Youthoracle bringing it stronger than the first, with jokes about Weirdoe’s girlfriend, whilst Weirdoe tries to make sense of the difference in quality of Youth’s battles and his music, killing with a play on words. On to Round 3, Weirdoe hits a nerve by labelling Youthoracle an ass kisser, Youthorcale showing Weirdoe how Notts roll with a slew of headtop bars. Weirdoe states Youtube isn’t for Youthoracle, and Weirdoe has a few bars aiming at Youthorcale’s team. Youthoracle steps in when Weirdoe slips up, getting his own wheel up with a nice bit of wordplay too, and going in with an outrageously hilarious bar as he lyrically attacks Weirdoe’s parents. In my opinion, Weirdoe took the clash win, stronger in the first two rounds, not so much in the third, so maybe a 2-1 decision, but both mc’s were definitely at their best and could have gone either way.
