Don’t Flop’s raise the bar tour hit Leeds and local battler Zen took on J Short in a classic 4 bar round freestyle clash. The two rappers traded articulate improvised insults with venom and ferocity in an epic battle rap tennis style rally. Zen and J Short go at each other like men possessed in what I would call the ultimate banter session, getting rapturous crowd reaction, no holds barred, slating each others race, appearances, girlfriends and cultures. Truly epic battle, Zen holds his own in any freestyle battle, but in terms of off the dome fluency and made up punchlines J Short took this one just. J seemed to get the better flips and rebuttals.
