East London Grime MC Maxsta teamed up with fellow MC’s Mr Mini, Scrufizzer and Icxn for a mega remix of Skepta’s ‘That’s Not Me’, a Shax Major remix. Off of the back of an epic trip to the BBC 1Xtra for a killer B2B session, all four mc’s hit up the West End streets for the visuals shot by Risky Roads. The production by Shaqs is a bass-rich, grimey refix with a Trap vibe, as Maxsta sets the levels for the new wave, switching up his game, and parring has-beens and rival mc’s. Deekay follows suit with some pars for other mc’s, with hype delivery and rough flow, throwing in some clever punchlines, Scrufizzer kills it with tongue twisting, rapid flows which are skippy, stressing that he kills tracks effortlessly, with a word to his woman, and warning rivals against starting drama they don’t want. Icxn tops off the banger with a verse in which he displays terrific flow, attacking phoney guys, and spitting cheeky bars in which he emphasizes his devilish ways with the women. The foursome go in ham with the bars and flows over the beat, with lots of energy, and not just the tune, but behind the scenes looks mad, whilst the shoot looks simplistic, more focused on the wicked editing.
