King Kay | The Revolution [Music Video]: SBTV
UK Hip Hop artist King Kay delivers his first outing of 2015, with a Melo-Zed produced track entitled ‘The Revolution’. The production by Melo-Zed is quite ambient and atmospheric, with a futuristic vibe to go along with the thumping Hip Hop beat. King Kay lays down smooth lyricism and slick delivery over the instrumental, coming across as somewhat of a wordsmith, in which he rhymes about not fitting in with the trends which other artists try to keep up with, emphasizing that he is out of this world. King Kay shows pity by praying for many rappers thatn are lost in the hype of guns, drugs and violence in their music, but lets it be known that he isn’t on any of that, using his passion for finer music and his talent to get him by. King Kay delivers thought-provoking lyrics over the beat, which is so crisp and soulful and quite like those of the likes of J Dilla and many more, plus King Kay comes across as similar to the likes of J. Cole. Check out the slick, quality visuals by Dir. Lx. Which are cinematic to say the least. Leave us your thoughts in the comments section below . . .
