The production on this mixtape complements Herbal T’s lyricism, as he comes across as Hip Hop Emperor, a nod to his self-made title, fighting with warriors and war gods, as he takes the listener on a spiritual journey through his mind and soul, as well as taking you on a vividly descriptive trip around his living quarters and surroundings. Herbal T displays terrific ability for creative and descriptive story telling, using a lot of metaphorical meanings in his rhymes, which actually sometimes represent Herbal T’s reality and his experiences of those around him and their antics, the media, and he often depicts battles in his songs between himself and rivals whom take on the roles of fighting warriors and gladiators.
