Following on from her last remix of Rihanna’s ‘BBHMM’, Producer/Songwriter Hannah V has taken it upon herself to release her own remix of Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Swimming Pools’. Hanna V revamps the Hip Hop track and stamps her own mark on the Hip Hop track with a punchy beat, mixing Trap elements of snares and hi-hats with classical influences bought about by the sparkling percussion. Hannah V’s production comes to the forefront a bit, which is epic and uplifting, especially when the classical elements come in to the play, as she sort of distorts and chops up some of Kendrick’s vocals from the original, mainly the chorus, placing his vocals strategically around the instrumental.
