P110 host visuals from Josh RGN for Birmingham Rapper MDR’s new track called ‘Another Day’ featuring fellow Brum rapper Malik MD7. The two take to a boom bap beat which features a female vocalist spreading a soulful vibe with her singing voice on the hook, as the brilliant production adds an old school feel to proceedings. The lyricism from both MDR and Malik represent and depict the everyday casual goings on in the hood, smoking recreationally and chilling with friends, yet both MDR and Malik deliver some deep bars in which they rhyme about unity and peace and harmony especially within their community, yet they reveal that they are stuck up in the mentality of chasing the paper, the women and living recklessly. This track might perhaps get you either pondering on your own life, may be nostalgic, but might also get you in a chilled mood. Check out the visuals that are filmed around their home area, alternating with self-shot scenes in which both MDR and Malik take control of the camera.
