Mic Righteous – Gone

Mic Righteous recently took to Youtube to release a previously unheard track made around a year ago, which also comes amid trouble regarding publishing. Mic Righteous delivers powerful lyricism as he unveils the truth from the perspective of a young published/signed artist, giving an insight in to the problems that can occur when you put your music in to the hands of the wrong people. Mic sets out on the track to avenge the wrong doings and injustice of his publisher that done him over regarding his album and music, and with Mic having had to deal with personal issues and feeling his career has been neglected, he makes his enemies feel his wrath with the power of words, attacking those with out a backbone and no dignity, promising to payback by making cash, and Mic also spits some lethal bars such as threatening to snatch away his livelihood too. Mic Righteous rhymes with conviction and great pain and anger in his voice over the melancholy beat, bringing to mind the thought that we need to be owning more of our own and having more freedom musically like the Tech N9ne’s or even UK’s Wiley, but to also come together as one to be a stronger force.
