UK Rappers Montana Drama and Airklipz collaborate on a brand new track called The Higher Life’, taken from Montana Drama’s ‘Hooks And Bars’ mixtape, with visuals by Chiba Visuals. Both artists kick off the video with a casual discussion on road, as they discuss the wrongs in the world today, especially the youth that has no positive role model, everyone chasing the money when in actual fact, knowledge is the key to success and to be able to elevate to a better place, rather than slipping in to a system designed for us to be competing and fighting. The track features some powerful lyricism from the two rappers as they strive to deter the listener from the negative path. Both Montana Drama and Airklipz’ rhymes depict their belief in religion, with the notion that religious teachings don’t incite violence, whilst you must become clued up with knowledge of history and be aware of the traps of society so that you may swerve and elevate to a higher life as it were. Montana Drama and Airklipz deliver some intellectual lyricism on the track, with each differing in styles, Montana hyper with Airklipz being more laid back, yet both are intelligent wordsmiths in their own right, as they flow precisely over the old school sounding beat and light piano melody.
